AR POINTS!!! Last day for Seniors AR points is Thursday, 5/1/2014. Grades 6-11 last day is May 15th.

Lucky Star Dance Tryouts will be April 21st at 5:30 PM. Tryout practices will be April 15th-17th at 6am each morning.
Student Council STUDENT COUNCIL will meet at lunchtime on the following Tuesdays: April 22nd and 29th to plan for the Talent Show and for May Day baskets.
Service Hour Opportunity for 10-12th graders On May 3rd, First National Bank (formerly Platte Valley State Bank) will be hosting NEST Fest. NEST is the College Savings Plan of Nebraska and they use this event to promote saving for college. NEST Fest is a free event for our community and will include food, games, activities, crafts, entertainment and local celebrities between 11am and 2pm. We will be in need of volunteers grades 10-12 to assist with the set up, activities and clean up between the hours of 8am and 4pm. Cheerleading Tryouts will be held Monday, April 21st at 4pm. There will be a parents meeting on Wednesday, April 16th that all parents must attend (those trying out are welcome as well) at 6:00 pm. in the teachers lounge. First practice will be Wednesday April 16th following the parent meeting, and Thursday, April 17th at 6pm.
2014 Leadership Kearney Sophomores: 2014 Youth Leadership Kearney applications can be found at www.leadershipkearney.com. Completed YLK applications and two sealed letters of recommendation must be received by the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce no later than 5:00pm on May 30th for consideration. Interested students are encouraged to complete the application process in April as May is really busy!click here

UNIFORM REMINDERS.......... *Collared shirts must be worn at all times. *Button down vests only. *The only gray sweatshirt that may be worn on regular days is the 50th anniversary shirt. *Shirt colors - white, navy blue, dark forest green. *Shoes, black, brown, khaki, tan; solid colored with no white (soles included). No logos. *No coats/jackets may be worn in class.
IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS......... YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR LUNCH! IF YOU WANT DOUBLES OR EXTRA FOR LUNCH, YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP. IF YOU ARE NOT SIGNED UP YOU MUST COME BACK AT THE END OF THE LINE TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY EXTRAS.
REMINDER FOR SENIORS... any food that you bring in must be eaten in the multi-purpose room...the front foyer is not a lunch room.

STUDENTS - TARDY POLICY REMINDER - - Each student is allowed 4 tardies per quarter. Beginning on the 5th tardy you will receive detention every time you are tardy. Students who accumulate over 12 tardies in a semester will not receive the 4 tardies allotted the following quarter.
