*********** "Thank you Stardust Singers for singing at the soup luncheon at Prince of Peace Church! It was greatly appreciated!

Religious Education needs your help singing during their Advent Celebration on Wednesday. Your voices would be greatly appreciated at either 4:15 or 6:15.

Decorate for Christmas St. James needs your help decorating the church for Christmas on Monday evening, December 22nd starting at 5pm. Please come by and earn service hours or just give of your time.

Service Hours Service Hour Opportunity: Snow Removal, Can you help? St. James is in urgent need of volunteers to shovel sidewalks and move snow whenever we have a winter storm. Presently most of our volunteers are retired individuals who should not be shoveling snow. This is an excellent opportunity for service hours. Please consider helping by volunteering to be on the calling list for snow removal. We would like to develop a list of at least 25 people that we can call or text when snow removal is needed. Generally, this would be between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and around 6 a.m. on Sundays, although other days of the week may be effected for meetings and other church gatherings. Volunteers can be individuals, school groups, families, or just a group of kind hearted friends. Volunteers will need to bring their own shovels if possible. To volunteer to help remove snow when necessary (and when you are available), please contact the church office at 234-5536 and ask to be put on the snow removal call list. Or contact Melodie Bellamy at 308-237-5942 or any other member of St. James Parish Council. Thank you for being willing to serve
