****** The VB team is hosting a 4 on 4 tourney this Thursday afternoon (TOMORROW!) from 2:00-5:00 for girls in grades 6-8. Registration is 1:30-2. Cost is $15 and teams will be coached by varsity players. Please register online via the Activities page on our KCHS website. Have some fun during fall break!
BOWLING TRYOUTS........ Oct. 28th at 4:30 and Oct. 29th at 4:30 at the Big Apple. There will be a 10.00 dollar fee for trying out.

Book Fair KCHS is hosting a book fair Oct 21-23. The library will receive a minimum of 40% of sales in new books!! The book fair hours are as follows: Oct 21 8 am-4 pm, Oct 22 8 am-2 pm and 3-9 pm and Oct 23 8-11 am.

Swim Team Any High School students interested in being a part of the swim/dive team with Kearney high please pick up a form in the office. This form needs to be filled out, signed by parents and returned to Mr. Petri.
National Honor Society The list of Seniors and Juniors eligible for the National Honor Society is posted on the door to room 209. If you are on it and want to apply, please pick up a packet on the table in Mrs. Volkmer's room. These must be turned in to Mrs. Volkmer by November 14th.

Gold Catalog Delivery -Service Hours Fifteen students are needed to deliver GOLD catalogs November 12th – November 16th. It’s a great way to receive service hours! Sign up in the school office.
Elves Wanted: Grinches Need Not Apply The City of Kearney is seeking two responsible teenagers to volunteer as elves in the Christmas Cottage located in Downtown Kearney this Holiday Season. Thursdays, December 4,11 &18 from 4-8pm, Saturdays December 6,13 &20, from 12-5pm and Sundays, December 7,14 &21 from 1-5pm. This is a great opportunity for students who need to complete service hours. Elves will be responsible for assisting families with taking pictures using any type of electronic device.
