CANDY CANE GRAMS: Will be on sale after school every day this week in the foyer from 3:35-3:50. They may be purchased for $1 each and will be delivered during 3rd period on December 11th.
TICKETS FOR THE SADIE HAWKINS DANCE will be sold after school in the foyer starting Wednesday through Friday for JUNIOR HIGH ONLY. The High School dance has been cancelled.
THE SEMESTER IS QUICKLY COMING TO AN END... Check the lists on the office window for dues and fees that are still owed!!! You will not be able to take semester tests or check out of tests until these items and lunches are taken care of. All of these items were due in August.

Pro-Life Club Any High school students interested in joining the new Pro-Life club, there will be a meeting Monday, December 9th at lunchtime in Mrs. Volkmer's room.
KCHS CHRISTMAS CONCERT: The 6th-12th Grades Band and Choral Concert will be held on Sunday December 15th at 4:00 pm at the Merryman Performing Arts Center.
BASKETBALL APPAREL: If you are interested in ordering basketball fanwear for the 13/14 season, you may pick a form up in the school office or print the form from the link on the school website. All boys/girls basketball families will be e-mailed the forms as well. Orders must be turned in no later than noon THIS Friday, December 6th. Please make checks payable to KCHS Basketball. Park & Rec Intramural Basketball & Volleyball Kearney Park & Recreation is having a High School Intramural Basketball League starting in January. Registration Deadline is Friday, December 13th. They are also having a High School Intramural Volleyball Tournament Monday, January 20th. If you would like to participate; get a team together and pick up an information flyer in the school office or call Kearney Park & Recreation at 237-4644
Diaper Drive 5TH ANNUAL DIAPER DRIVE to benefit the Collage Center here in Kearney will be held on December 11th. Students and staff may dress down with the donation of a package of baby diapers. Collage has a greater need for sizes 3-6, but any size diapers are welcome. Ask Mrs. Presser or any student council member if you have questions! Last year, we collected over 250 packages of diapers. Help us surpass that goal this year!!
Star Partners Catholic Schools Week Planning Meeting Star Partners will meet Wednesday, DECEMBER 11th at 6:30 at THE KEARNEY COUNTRY CLUB for a planning meeting for CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK! This is a week long, full of daily activities, all planned by STAR PARTNERS! We need MANY volunteers to make this successful! Haven't joined us yet, come check it out on the 11th! Appetizers will be served... Again ,meeting will be at Kearney Country Club on the 11th at 6:30 NOT at the school as the newsletter stated!
HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE: Fort Kearney Shooting Sports Association is offering a Hunter Education course on January 8, 9 and 10 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Online registration required, go to www.HuntSafeNebraska.org. Students that are interested in being on the KCHS Shooting Team are required to take this course if they have not already done so.
YEARBOOK STAFF: Every Thursday during lunch, Mrs. Sucha has a yearbook workshop set up in her classroom. Bring your lunch and take advantage of time to work on your pages, share ideas, ask questions whatever you need to do. The laptops will be signed into the yearbook website for you at the beginning of lunch period. Remember, fall pages need to be done before you leave for Christmas break, now is your chance to have time to do them!
REMINDER FOR SENIORS... any food that you bring in for lunch must be eaten in the multi-purpose room...the front foyer is not a lunch room.
POSTERS/SIGNS MAY NOT BE HUNG UP AROUND SCHOOL UNLESS YOU HAVE GOTTEN PERMISSION FROM THE OFFICE.

STUDENTS - TARDY POLICY REMINDER - - Each student is allowed 4 tardies per quarter. Beginning on the 5th tardy you will receive detention every time you are tardy. Students who accumulate over 12 tardies in a semester will not receive the 4 tardies allotted the following quarter.
