SPRING PLAY TRYOUTS.......... Sunday from 6:00-8:00 and Tuesday from 7:00-8:30. Due to the limited parts available this year, we will only audition students in Grade 8 or higher.
JUNIORS: Plan to take either the April or June ACT. Registration deadline for the April 12th ACT test is this Friday, March 7th!

UNIFORM REMINDERS.......... *Collared shirts must be worn at all times. *Button down vests only. *The only gray sweatshirt that may be worn on regular days is the 50th anniversary shirt. *Shirt colors - white, navy blue, dark forest green. *Shoes, black, brown, khaki, tan; solid colored with no white (soles included). No logos. *No coats/jackets may be worn in class.
FISH FRY IN LINCOLN DURING LENT... The Knights of Columbus will host a fish fry on Fridays during Lent at North American Martyrs Parish in Lincoln (across from Highlands Golf Course). This will include the Fridays of Girls State Basketball and Boys State Basketball. It will run from 4:30-7:30 pm, and the cost is $8 for adults, $4 for ages 5-12, and 4 and under is free. The menu will be baked tilapia, fried pollock, french fries, coleslaw, spaghetti with meatless sauce or alfredo, mac & cheese, rye & wheat bread, pickles, soft drinks, dessert & ice cream. IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS......... YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR LUNCH! IF YOU WANT DOUBLES OR EXTRA FOR LUNCH, YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP. IF YOU ARE NOT SIGNED UP YOU MUST COME BACK AT THE END OF THE LINE TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY EXTRAS.
REMINDER FOR SENIORS... any food that you bring in must be eaten in the multi-purpose room...the front foyer is not a lunch room.
POSTERS/SIGNS MAY NOT BE HUNG UP AROUND SCHOOL UNLESS YOU HAVE GOTTEN PERMISSION FROM THE OFFICE.
STUDENT REMINDERS: *Students are not to be in the hallways at lunch time. *Do not stack books or personal items on the ledge by the statue in the foyer. *Do not sit on the ledge by the statue in the foyer. *Do not sit/lay on the tables. *Do not put tape on the lockers. *No food allowed in the foyer/halls. STUDENTS - TARDY POLICY REMINDER - - Each student is allowed 4 tardies per quarter. Beginning on the 5th tardy you will receive detention every time you are tardy. Students who accumulate over 12 tardies in a semester will not receive the 4 tardies allotted the following quarter.
CALENDAR: Tuesday, March 11, 12:00 - 3:00 - Chinese Teacher Visitation; Wednesday, March 19 - Sophomore Retreat; Monday, March 31 - No School for Juniors & Seniors (day after Prom); No School for 8th Grade (winners of Homecoming games & Star Olympics); No AM School for Freshman (for winning Star Olympics)must report in time for 6th period. Tuesday, April 1 - No AM School for Juniors (for winning Homecoming games) Must report to school in time for 6th period. Thursday, April 3 - Visitation Day.
LUNCH HELPERS FOR MARCH 10 - 13 ARE EMILY BEANS & BROOKE SCHUESSLER.... Please report to the lunch room 10 minutes before the bell.
LUNCH MENU: Monday 3/10 - Chicken fried steak, fruit/veggie bar, milk; Tuesday 3/11 - Corndog, fruit/veggie bar, milk; Wednesday 3/12 - Nachos, cheese sauce, fruit/veggie bar, milk; Thursday 3/13 - No School; Friday 3/14 - No School.
DETENTION SCHEDULE: Monday 3/10 - Mr. Petri; Tuesday 3/11 - Mrs. Presser; Wednesday 3/12 - Mr. Refenes.
